There are different ways of viewing the world, systems, and strategies and in our visually overloaded environment, there are many tactics used to diffuse the noise. This often results in manipulation of one's existing vision. Translating noise into visuals allows a way of storytelling by simplifying the act of receiving information and translating this into actively perceiving. • As part of exploring my personal identity and artistic authorship, a device was created that suffices as a tool to tell stories through visuals. Through a light installation in form of a 50x50 frame the aim was to create attention and focus on volume of information, data and detail. • By translating morse code into a rhythmically pulsating blue LED line, diffused by an overload of other LED lights, colours and differentiating pulsations, the installation is able to demonstrate what happens when you cancel out noise. A message is better received and better comprehended, and a subliminal notion is highlighted.
